Air Peace Aircraft Carrying 96 Persons Experiences Engine Failure Mid-air



Barely every week after Bristow Helicopters skilled engine failure mid-air, one other Nigerian service, Air Peace, on Tuesday had an engine failure couple of minutes after departing Lagos.

It was learnt that the plane had 90 passengers and 6 crew members onboard as on the time of the incident.

A press release by the Normal Supervisor, Public Affairs, Accident Investigation Bureau confirmed the incident, saying that its investigators had commenced investigation into the incident.

The AIB defined that the incident occurred at 07:47 native time whereas the plane had departed Lagos at 07:35 native time.

In response to him, data offered by the Air Visitors Management revealed that the incident made the crew to right away make an air return again to base.

He, nevertheless, said that the plane landed safely at 08:06 native time, including that each one occupants disembarked with no harm.

The assertion reads, “The AIB workforce of security investigators has commenced investigation.

“As the only real company mandated to undertake the investigation of plane accidents and critical incidents, the bureau needs the general public to know that it could be open to receiving any video clip, related proof or data that will help on this investigation.”
